I am currently working with “The analysis of image complexity with MSE” as an individual project student. The complexity of visual input, as a factor, has been assumed to be correlated to the pleasure ratings and many other subjective visual perceptions. However, there is yet to be an objective algorithm for measuring image complexity, given that the traditional entropy calculation has its own drawbacks. This project aims at developing an algorithm for image complexity with the help of multivariate multiscale entropy (MSE).

Outside the lab, I am a member of U of T kendo club and I play basketball. Also, I have a deep interest in music. I completed my high school in Beijing before I came to Toronto as an international student.
