Claudia Damiano

Claudia Damiano

Graduate Student

Claudia is a 3rd year PhD student. She is broadly investigating how image features are interpreted in the brain to produce visual scene perception, cognition (e.g., attention, memory), and emotion. More specifically, she is currently interested in which image features (e.g., contour curvature, visual complexity, etc.) contribute to feelings of aesthetic pleasure. When she is not in the lab, she is most likely planning a new adventure to a far away land or a really good restaurant.
